  Best Selling Western Romance

Cinders' Bride by Kathleen Ball

See what critics are saying about it-

From Amazon Reviewers--

Loved it

I absolutely loved this book! I don't usually read these kind of books but this one had me hooked on the first page! Loved it and I can't wait to read more by Kathleen Ball!

Loved this book. Shannon triumphed all kinds of hardships. Can't wait for book 2

Loved it! Once again Kathy Ball wrote a fantastic read!

Cinder's Bride is a sweet adventure of a city girl who agreed to be a mail order bride out to the wild West. Shannon had a difficult childhood which prepared her to face adversity and overcome. Cinder, recently widowed, cannot resist the wholesome, beauty of his tenacious bride. The romance blossoms gently and grows deeper with each frontier challenge. It's an energetic, fun read.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. The story was different from other mail order brides I've read. The characters were interesting and enjoyable.

I loved Cinder's Bride. It had all the qualities I could count on from Kathleen Ball - sweet, sexy romance, hot cowboys, vulnerable yet strong characters - but it was different at the same time. I loved Kathleen's first time-period romance. She obviously did her research, because I felt as though I was back in that world as I read this story. I'm excited to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend Cinder's Bride.

Everyone has a past; some are darker than others.
Young veterinarian, Holden O`Leary has fled a difficult past in Texas and moved his four younger brothers, Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John to ranch near a small town in Montana. This is where they will build a new life for themselves, far from the ugliness of the past. Holden places an ad for a nanny/housekeeper to look after the domestic chores while he works as a vet.
Summer Fitzgerald is running from the demons of her own when she shows up at the ranch in answer to the job opportunity. Imagine her shock when she realises that the boys she is going to be nanny to are not small children, but strapping young males who range in age from adolescence to late teens. The nanny role goes out the window quickly and she becomes their friend and confidant. The attraction between Holden and Summer is strong, but just when you think they`ve finally got it all together something else comes up.
All the characters are well rounded, the plot is complex and twists and turns as their pasts come back to haunt them.
If you enjoy simmering cowboy romances, with a strong dash of family drama, murder, robbery and suspense don`t miss this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Gold Crown of Excellence Spring's Delight #romance #ASMSG

4 1/2 Stars WESTERN:
"Colt O’Malley only
wants to be left alone with the
grief he feels over losing his
brother Caleb. When someone
drops off a beaten and battered
female and claims that his dead
brother sent her to work as his
assistant, Colt almost loses
control. He is used to handling
abused horses and nursing them
back to health. Unfortunately, he
has no idea how to help heal a
woman’s broken soul.
When Spring arrives at Colt’s
doorstep all she wants to do is
visit with Caleb and sleep. What
she finds is a game changer.
When the going gets tough, the
tough get going. Through their
broken hearts and mutual
understanding, Colt and Spring
are able to help each other
grieve and heal.
Kathleen Ball is a brilliant
storyteller! She weaves a tale
that draws the reader in and
keeps them coming back for
more. Although Spring’s Delight
is the fourth book in a series, it
stands alone so that the reader
doesn’t feel like they are missing
important information. Some of
Ms. Ball’s secondary characters
could have been a little more
fleshed out, but overall, Spring’s
Delight is a superb story. Ms.
Ball’s description of the hero/
heroine, the landscape, and the
emotion that she is able to
procure from her words, garners
her four and a half stars. If you
enjoy westerns with exciting
characters, suspense, love, and
heartache you will be fascinated
with Spring’s Delight"--- InD'Tale Magazine

The last thing cowboy Colt O'Malley needs is another busybody intent on curing him of his grief. Deeply bitter, Colt finds it almost impossible honoring his brother's last act of kindness.

Spring Reed grew up in the foster care system and when she finally ages out, she relies on her protector and friend, Billy Jack to help them make a life together. To her horror, Billy becomes an abusive bully. Her rescuer arrives in the form of a coffee drinking, hard studying, college student, Caleb O'Malley. With a promise of a new job, he buys her a bus ticket from Texas to his family ranch in Montana with the plan to meet her there in a week. Unfortunately, no one met her.

Old Ed tries to drop Spring off at the O'Malley ranch, Colt tells him to take her back. One glance at the pain in her eyes and he couldn't send her away. She reminds him of the abused horses he rescues.

Can two people with scarred souls learn to love again or will bitterness and doubt drive them apart?
